Sewa Dal Rally - Guru Puja Diwas 2012

Guru Puja Diwas celebration continued on Feb 26, 2012 at SNMTracy Bhawan with Sewa Dal Rally, Tree plantation and cleanliness drive.


Sewa Dal Rally was conducted in presence of Rev. Dr. Rai ji, Rev. Dev Raj Vijh ji, Rev. Ajit Sooch ji, Rev. Prem Chaudhri ji and Rev. Gurmohan Nagpal ji. 


Rev. Dr. Rai ji conducted the inspection of the Sewa Dal followed by the sewa dal exercises and guru puja diwas geet. Sewa Dal performed few games like kids with spoon and tomato, Sandesh (message) passing and handkerchief cloth picking game. 


Dr. Rai ji concluded the Sewa Dal Rally with his vichar mentioning the importance of Sewa Dal in Sant Nirankari Mission and it's history especially when and how it was born. 


After Sewa Dal Rally, Tree plantation was done in the lawn. Many plants were put in the ground by Dr. Rai ji, Dev Raj vijh ji and Mohan Sabnani ji with other sewa dal members.


Regular Sunday Sangat started after Sewa Dal Rally. In the Sangat, the custom of Thali for Guru Puja Diwas was performed. Many kids recited the poems, music and devotional geets.
Sangat was concluded with His Holiness vichar from Delhi. His messages to Sewa Dal was that there is always a room for improvement and one should keep striving for the best. He took the example of a airplane that how strong they designed it to keep the worst environmental effects like gusty winds etc in their mind while making it. One should have farsightedness to be the best.

Guru Puja Diwas 2012 Celebration at SNMTracy Bhawan

Guru Puja Diwas grand celebration started at SNMTracy Bhawan on Feb 23rd, 2012.

Bhawan was decorated at its best with Flowers and Balloons. Bal Sangat kids arranged the exhibition in the outside main lobby. Exhibition was full of Baba ji posters, his life history and creative display of Mission teachings. Publication stall was also at display with His Holiness posters, books, Samagam DVD's and table calenders. 

Inside the main hall, devotees started celebration with the Kavi Darbar from Bal Sangat directed by Rev. Narinder pal Singh Noor ji. The kids enthusiastically performed and presented in Hindi, “KIDS KAVI DARBAR”, a deeply moving poetic symposium to wish Baba ji "Happy Birthday !".

Kids also performed in three drama/play illustrating the Mission Teachings. First play was in punjabi called "Sukh Satguru Di Sharni" directed by Rev. Amar pal ji. In the play kids performed as celebrities, famous sports players and businessmen having all they want but deep down inside there is no happiness. Play illustrated that in order to be happy, one need to have Satguru Gyan and he need to take refuge in Satguru. Second play was "Attachment and Detachment" directed by Rev. Mini Anand ji, displaying the importance of Sewa, Simran and Satsang in family and friends. Third play was "Nirankari Literature and Publication Presentation" directed by Rev. Poonam Sagar ji. In the play, kids representing Hansti Duniya, Sant Nirankari Magazine, Ek Nazar, Nirankari Journal and Nirankari Library. Every kid displayed the importance and effect of the publication in the daily life. Nirankari Library mentioned about the wast treasure of the mission publication, books, media and History. 

Saints also performed devotional geets, dances and punjabi Bhangra. A surprise bhangra performance was done by Rev. Mrs and Mr. Iqbaljit Rai ji, Rev. Mrs and Mr. Dev Raj Vijh ji, Rev. Mrs and Mr. Ajit Sooch ji, Rev. Mrs. and Mr. Bindra Sandhu ji and Rev. Mrs. and Mr. Harpal ji. 

A small movie directed by Rev. Poonam Sagar ji, was displayed on "What Nirankari Mission meant to me..." by Bal Sangat. All the kids in the movie mentioned about their own very true meaning and effect of the Nirankari Mission in their lives. It was really amazing to see that how kids really understand the Satguru teachings in their lives. 

Finally the celebration was concluded with His Holiness Vichar from Delhi Guru Puja Diwas. His Holiness explained that how devotees extended the celebration from one day to three or four day celebration. He wishes every devotee that they enjoy the real bliss every day of their lives.
