The Sant Nirankari Mission celebrates Human Unity Day (Manav Ekta Divas) every year on 24th April to pay homage to saints who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Truth and human values. To celebrate this day Tracy chapter of Sant Nirankari Mission, USA organized a Sewadal Rally event followed by a spiritual congregation on Sunday April 29th, 2012

Baba Ji said that the Mission observes April 24 as Manav Ekta Diwas to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and also to remember hundreds of other devotees who laid down their lives for the noble cause of truth, love, peace and unity. Even though the Mission started holding blood donation camps in 1986, the same have been associated with Manav Ekta Diwas since 1987. Initially these camps were held only on April 24 but subsequently, on persuasion by authorities, the same were staggered to cover the summer months when blood banks in the country generally face an acute shortage of blood
